Test Automation Engineer

At ALTEN Finland, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to strengthen our team. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be located in Finland.

In this role, you will develop and maintain automated testing solutions, enhance existing automation capabilities, perform software verification and validation activities, evaluate test outcomes, and collaborate closely with development teams. You will also be involved in test planning, test design, defect resolution, reporting, and the ongoing enhancement of testing practices.

We expect you to have:

• Hands-on experience in test automation and software testing
• Experience with technologies such as Python, Robot Framework, Ansible, Bash or similar tools
• Experience with software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and a structured way of working
• Ability to work independently and proactively in an international environment
• Strong communication skills in English
• A quality-focused mindset and enthusiasm for automation and continuous improvement
