Software Test Engineer

At ALTEN Finland, we are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring high-quality and reliable systems through both manual and automated software testing.

Main responsibilities:

• Planning and designing test cases and test strategies
• Executing both manual and automated tests
• Developing and maintaining test automation
• Identifying, reporting, and verifying defects
• Performing performance, load, and regression testing
• Troubleshooting issues together with the team
• Reporting testing progress and results
• Collaborating in Agile development

We expect you to have:

• Experience in software testing and test automation
• Understanding of performance, load, and regression testing
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working
• Experience with tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Basic knowledge of networking (e.g. IP, VLAN)
• Good communication skills in English
