Consent to the processing of personal data
Alten Finland Oy (Business ID number 1743827-9, hereinafter ALTEN) is responsible for the processing of the personal data that you will submit to ALTEN. After your consent to the processing of data, the personal data will be registered in our recruitment database.
The registration is a requirement in order for the recruitment managers to be able to match your competence with current vacancies and evaluate your suitability for vacant assignments. In order to administrate your application, we need your consent to our processing of your personal data in your application and its attachments. We ask you to carefully read through this text and only leave your consent if you understand and approve the terms.
The personal data that will be registered in the database is:
- Your first and last name,
- Your contact details, place of residence, date of birth,
- Education, level of education and year of graduation,
- Certificates and qualifications and verification of meaning in order to carry out special assignments,
- Your competence and specialist areas,
- Your resume and its containing information and attachments,
- Other information in relation to communication with you.
The purpose of the processing of your personal data is to enable the management of your application and further communication with you in respect of other recruitments. The legal ground for the processing of your personal data is the consent given by you or ALTEN’s justified interests with regard your application.
ALTEN and the group companies and affiliates of ALTEN can gather, process and use your personal data in order to process your application. Certain data can be saved for future recruitments, however not longer than for two (2) years from the date of consent. If you do not wish your data to be saved for future recruitments, you can ask us to delete your information at any time by e-mail.
Your personal data in our database is accessible only to our recruitment managers and other recruiting personnel. The personal data may also be processed by ALTEN’s sub-processor (such as the service provider of our database), with whom ALTEN has executed a written agreement on the processing of personal data. In addition, your personal data might be linked or shared with ALTEN’s clients in order to conduct the business (i.e. initiate and enter into client agreements) and with our group companies. Your personal data will not be transferred to unauthorized parties.
You can, at any time, withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data by ALTEN. Additionally, you have, according to the legislation in force, after written demand, a right of access, correction and deletion for the data related to you, a right of limitation, portability, erasure and opposition for legitimate reasons, which you may exercise by sending an email to the ALTEN Finland data protection coordinator at the following address: dpc@alten.fi. You have the right to file a complaint with regard the processing of your personal data to the relevant authority, Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (https://tietosuoja.fi/en/home).
