Your onboarding process
From your very first day, you’ll jump on our onboarding process, led by your very own manager. Our onboarding will give you a good start to your ALTEN career, introduce you to the opportunities ALTEN offers and also gives you the chance to get to know your colleagues at our virtual Welcome Event. During the first few months, your manager will follow up your settling in to your new role in 1to1 meetings.
Management of your skills
In our experience, on-the-job training is the best way to develop skills. You get to work on interesting assignments and learn new things. When you need a change, you can seek out new challenges with the help of your manager. We also support the maintenance and development of your skills through training.
Your development opportunities
Your manager will schedule regular follow-up meetings to ensure that your assignment is running smoothly. An annual career talk is also organised to agree on your professional objectives, review your progress and draw up a development roadmap. With an ALTEN career, you can deepen your expertise in the area you prefer, or you can aim for project leadership, for example. It is also possible to progress to team leader. Opportunities for development are constantly opening up.
