Mechanical Designer, Hardware Integration

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team in Tampere or Oulu. 
This position offers the opportunity to work on demanding product development projects as part of a top-tier expert team. 

Role Description: 

• Design and development of enclosures and mechanical structures for communication devices 
• Collaboration with electronics and software design teams to ensure hardware compatibility (e.g., motherboards, antennas) 
• Supplier collaboration and technical communication with various stakeholders 
• Development and evaluation of technical solutions 
• Cooperation with industrial design (ID) 

We expect you to have: 

• At least 10 years of experience in mechanical design 
• Strong proficiency in Catia design software 
• Experience working with hardware (e.g., enclosures, cooling solutions, EMC) 
• Good interpersonal skills and experience in supplier collaboration 
• Experience working with industrial design (e.g., aligning design and structure) 
• Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
